What is AnchorCert Protect?
AnchorCert Protect is a unique UKAS-accredited testing methodology that the Birmingham Assay Office developed. It measures 16 metallic elements that may cause Allergic Contact Dermatitis (ACD) and provides regulatory compliance in relation to REACH, Nickel and general product safety regulations for jewellery, watches and other products.

Simply put, because all of our earrings pass this rigorous testing, they are extremely unlikely to cause an allergic reaction, allowing you to wear them with complete confidence.
Not only are they safe, but our earrings also feature beautiful designs and vibrant colourways, providing you with the perfect blend of style and peace of mind.
Why have we got this Certification and why is it so important?
It's simple, over 20% of UK consumers avoid wearing jewellery due to allergic reactions caused by metal allergens.
That's more than you might have thought, right?
For those with metal allergies, like Nickel, we understand how risky it can be to trust buying jewellery. Some companies label their products as 'hypoallergenic' without proper research and testing, or they may even misrepresent the materials they use. This not only causes problems for consumers but also undermines trust in brands that genuinely offer safe jewellery, like us!

This is why we believe no one should have to compromise on the jewellery they wear, and it is why we have gone above and beyond with our testing with AnchorCert Protect to ensure our earrings are safe for everyone to wear.
We pride ourselves on our high-quality materials, and our commitment to excellence is further demonstrated by using AnchorCert Protect, a globally recognised testing standard.
This ensures our earrings are safe not only for the everyday wearer but also for those with sensitivities and allergies.
Now, everyone can wear our earrings without fear of a reaction, thanks to our certification from the Birmingham Assay Office.
EVERY material we use has been tested
Alongside all of our metallic elements, our incredible Cellulose Acetate material has been fully tested too!
Although it already has excellent hypoallergenic qualities, everything that comes in contact with your skin has been tested to ensure your skin is safe.
If you are unsure of what our metallic elements are, they are our stainless steel posts, butterfly backs and jump rings. (both stainless steel and rose gold plated brass)
